FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOS ANGELES – Today Kelly Gonez voiced her support for those taking to the streets on May Day.
"Every year we march on May Day for immigrants’ rights, but this year’s May Day march is especially important. Under the Trump Administration immigrants’ rights are being threatened like never before. As the daughter of an immigrant and teacher, I stand in solidarity with the workers and the immigrant families who are under siege by a hostile Trump Administration. Today, I am at school teaching my students, but I share the fight of those marching. I share the anger and I share the hope that today’s marchers will continue to speak out until real change comes for our immigrant communities."
